Privacy Policy
Ordning is a catalogue of your home. That is intimate data, so this page tells you exactly what leaves your phone, who touches it, and how to make it go away.

BahamApps AB (Sweden) is the data controller for Ordning. Write to [email protected] about anything on this page.
You sign in with Apple or Google. We never see your password. From the provider we receive and store your name, email address, and the account identifier that provider uses for you. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose Hide My Email, we only ever hold the relay address.
The homes, rooms, boxes and items you create, including names, notes, quantities, estimated values, purchase and warranty dates, serial numbers, barcodes, and who borrowed what. This is yours. We store it so it can sync between your devices and the people you share a home with.
Photos of rooms, boxes and items, and any receipts or documents you attach. They are held in a private bucket that is not readable from the public internet. Your app fetches them through short-lived signed links. Nobody at BahamApps AB browses them.
If you buy Ordning Plus or a Reports Pack, Apple or Google takes the payment. We never see your card. We store your plan, its renewal date, and the price you locked in, so that your price stays your price.
We record a short list of named events so we can see whether the app works: events such as onboarding completed, a home created, an item, photo or fixture added, a search performed, Siri used to find something, an invite sent or accepted, a join request approved or denied, a member removed, a report generated, the paywall viewed, and a purchase completed. Each is tied to a numeric account id and your plan. We do not capture screens, taps or screen recordings. We do collect crash reports, which may include a stack trace.
When you scan a product barcode, the number is sent to UPCitemdb to look up the product name and image. The barcode goes; nothing else does. Skip the scanner and nothing leaves your phone.
Ordning is offline-first. Your catalogue is written to a database on your phone and works with no signal at all, in the basement, in the storage unit, anywhere. It syncs when you are online.
Our servers, database and photo storage are in the European Union, as is our analytics. Apple and Google process sign-in and payments under their own terms and may do so outside the EU.
| Who | What they get | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Apple, Google | Sign-in identity, purchases | To let you in, and to take payment |
| Laravel Cloud | Your account and catalogue | Runs our API and database |
| Cloudflare R2 | Your photos and documents | Stores the files |
| PostHog (EU) | Named events, account id, plan, crashes | Tells us if the app is working |
| UPCitemdb | A barcode number, when you scan one | Looks up the product |
| RevenueCat | A customer identifier and subscription status | Keeps your plan in sync across devices |
Each is bound by a data processing agreement and may only act on our instructions.
Your catalogue and photos live as long as your account does. Delete an item, a box or a home and it goes, along with its photos, on the next cleanup pass. Analytics events are kept for as long as they remain useful and are never re-identified beyond your account id. Close your account and we erase your personal data within 30 days, except where the law makes us keep a record of a purchase.
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, and take it elsewhere. You can also complain to your data protection authority. In Sweden that is Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten.
To delete your account, open the app and go to Settings, then Delete Account. That erases your account, your catalogue and your photos. If you no longer have the app, email [email protected] from the address you signed up with and we will confirm and erase everything within 30 days.
Ordning is not built for children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has an account, write to us and we will remove it.
If we change how we handle your data in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect, not by quietly editing this page.
