Terms of Service

The deal, in plain words.

You catalogue your home. We keep it safe, sync it, and stay out of your way. Here is the rest of it, written to be read.

Last updated 9 July 2026

01The agreement

Using Ordning means you accept these terms. They are between you and BahamApps AB (Sweden). If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

02Your account

You sign in with Apple or Google, so keep that account secure. You must be old enough to form a contract where you live, and at least 13. One person, one account. You are responsible for what happens under yours.

03Free, and Plus

Every home is free. Unlimited rooms, boxes and items. One home. One editor. Unlimited view-only sharing. Two gigabytes of photos.

Ordning Plus raises exactly four ceilings: up to five homes, up to eight people who can edit rather than just look, ten gigabytes of photos per home, and insurance and move-in/move-out reports. Nothing else changes, and nothing you already have is taken away to sell back to you.

Lifetime is Ordning Plus for one payment. Nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel. The same four ceilings, both report types, on every device you sign in on.

The Reports Pack is a one-time purchase that unlocks both report types, for every home you own and on every device, for people who need a report once and not a subscription.

If you cancel Plus and end up over a limit, nothing is deleted. The extra homes become read-only until you are back under the cap or subscribe again.

04Your price is your price

The price you subscribe at is locked for as long as you stay subscribed. If we raise prices, we raise them for new subscribers. If you cancel and come back later, you get whatever the price is then.

Buy Lifetime and there is no price to lock. You paid once, and that is the end of it.

05Billing

Apple and Google take the payment and hold your billing relationship. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, which you do in the App Store or Play Store, not with us. Cancelling stops the next charge and leaves you with Plus until the period you paid for runs out.

Lifetime and the Reports Pack are one-time payments. Neither renews, and there is nothing to cancel.

Refunds are Apple's and Google's to give. If something is our fault, tell us at [email protected] and we will help you get it.

If you live in the EU or UK you have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days. Exercise it through the store you bought from.

06What you make is yours

Your catalogue, your photos, your documents. You own all of it. You give us only the permission we need to run the service: to store your content, move it between your devices, and show it to the people you have invited into a home. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

We do not use your content to train anything, and we do not license it to anyone.

07Sharing a home

Invite someone into a home and they see everything in it. Editors can add and change things; view-only guests can look and nothing more. Only the owner can invite, remove people, or delete the home. Invite links let anyone holding them request access, so treat them like keys.

The home's owner is the one whose plan sets its limits. If you are invited into someone else's home, their plan governs it, not yours.

08Fair use

Do not use Ordning to:

  • store anything illegal, or anything you have no right to store
  • break into other people's homes or accounts
  • resell, scrape, or rebuild the service
  • work around plan limits, or overload the service on purpose
  • treat the photo storage as a general file locker; it is for photos and documents of the things in your homes, not a place to park unrelated files

We can suspend an account that does these things, and we can remove files that are plainly not part of a home catalogue. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first.

09Reports are records, not advice

Ordning produces insurance inventory reports and move-in/move-out condition reports from what you put into it. They are only as complete and as accurate as your catalogue. They are not an appraisal, not a valuation, not insurance advice, and not legal advice. No insurer or landlord is obliged to accept one. Check them before you rely on them.

10Backups, and the copy on your phone

Ordning is offline-first: your catalogue lives on your device and syncs to our servers as a backup. We take care with that backup and we keep our own, but the service is provided as it is. Keep anything you truly cannot lose in more than one place.

We may change, pause or stop parts of the service. If we ever shut Ordning down, we will give you at least 60 days' notice and a way to export your data.

What Lifetime covers. Lifetime is Ordning Plus for as long as Ordning is offered, and for no less than three years from the day you buy it. The app on your device keeps working with your catalogue whether our servers run or not. If we stop the sync service inside those three years, you get at least 60 days' notice, a way to export everything, and a fair share of what you paid back.

11Liability

Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else the law says cannot be limited, and it does not touch your statutory rights as a consumer.

Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows: we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for lost data where you had a reasonable opportunity to keep your own copy. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is capped at what you paid us in that period, or one hundred euros if you paid us nothing.

12Ending it

Stop using Ordning whenever you like. Email [email protected] to close your account and we will erase your data within 30 days. We may close an account that breaks these terms, or a free one that has been dormant for years, after telling you. We do not close an account you have paid for because you left it alone; filing your home away and not touching it is the point.

13Changes to these terms

We will tell you in the app before a material change takes effect. Carrying on using Ordning after that means you accept the new terms. If you do not, close your account.

14Law and disputes

Swedish law governs these terms, and the courts of Sweden hear disputes about them. If you are a consumer in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim there. You may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
